Ky-Mani Marley one of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae Singers was born on Friday, February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He starred in the classic film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) and Sensimelia all of which added to his growing reputation in the new wave of reggae singers. Ky-Mani and Praswell who are members of the Fugees were joined in 1997 and recorded Avenue, a cover version Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley is the very first musician to perform in Midem in Miami which was an international festival of musical talent.
